Child's Play is proud to partner with The Braden James Fund.
The Braden James Fund focuses on addressing the deadliest pediatric brain cancer: Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). Braden James Meeker, the fund’s namesake, succumbed to DIPG at age 5, after an 18-month fight with the disease. The Braden James Fund helps families of DIPG-diagnosed children cope with the pain of this journey through a three-pronged approach: PLAY, ADVOCATE, and CURE. With your help, these young patients will get to PLAY for as long as possible, while the Braden James Fund ADVOCATES for better access to critical care, and supports research for a CURE. With your generosity, children with DIPG will remain children - and not just patients - for as long as they can, just as Braden did.
The Braden James Fund provides support, books, and toys for children undergoing cancer treatment at Sibley Memorial Hospital and Children's National Hospital.
